LogiChem Research Corporation is developing an integrated platform of computational chemistry tools to enable pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to efficiently design therapeutic drug candidates that have optimal ADMET properties. LogiChem's suite of tools provides the means for users to:

• Reduce the time and cost of drug discovery
• Reduce the risk of very costly late stage drug failure
• Enable the creation of better medicines

Bringing a single drug to market costs roughly $1.25B and requires 12 years on average. Every day spent in the discovery process represents a delay in revenues from sales of the eventual drug. For example, if a drug is capable of generating $500M per year in revenue, each day the drug is delayed from reaching the market represents a loss of $1-2M. Given that about 25 new drugs are approved by the FDA each year, a potential annual cost recovery of $175M could be realized if one week was cut from the drug discovery process. In other words, the tools developed by LogiChem Corporation will expedite drug development and therefore will be tremendously valuable.
